Purpose

This application replaces an out dated system that was limited to retaining records for a very short period of time and lacked search and robust authentication features. The new system provides:

• Persistent, auditable check-in/check-out history.
• Fast search and reporting for staff and administrators.
• Modern authentication options including integration with district Single Sign-On and passkey support.
• A dedicated desktop application endpoint for kiosk and workstation check-ins.

Supported Check-in Methods

• Student ID: Quick entry using the student's numeric ID at kiosks or the desktop app.
• Username & Password: District account sign-in for authenticated staff or students.
• Passkey (Passwordless): Personal devices for secure, phishing-resistant login (scan kiosk QR to link session).
