Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the CMR Library application collects and protects personal information when recording student check-in and check-out events.
Information Collected
- Student identifiers and display names used to track check-in/out activity.
- Timestamps, device identifiers, kiosk or workstation location, and IP address for auditing.
- Authentication metadata for users who sign in with district accounts or passkeys.
Use, Retention & Security
Collected data is used for operational and safety purposes, supporting reporting and investigations. Records are retained according to district policy. The application uses HTTPS, role-based access, and logging for administrative actions.
